Lee Thompson Young, most recently known as Detective Barry Frost on “Rizzoli & Isles”, but will always be known for his most famous role of Jett Jackson on Disney's "The Famous Jett Jackson" passed away this morning at age 29 - he died of an apparent suicide. His manager released this statement earlier today:
“It is with great sadness that I announce that Lee Thompson Young tragically took his own life this morning. Lee was more than just a brilliant young actor, he was a wonderful and gentle soul who will be truly missed.”
My thoughts are with his friends and family during this difficult time.
I watched his show as a teen, and loved it. I also had a crush on the chick that played his partner (Lindy Booth).
