Hayden Panettiere - I Can Do It Alone (Music Video Premiere)

This is a song she did for "Hoodwinked Too! Hood Versus Evil"; she took over the role for Red Riding Hood (previously voiced by Anne Hathaway in "Hoodwinked").

Another Fan Helped Via A Celebrity Twitter

A young NKOTB fan was in desperate need of a kidney transplant, so Donnie Wahlberg stepped in to help! The singer/actor retweeted a story about Bobbette Miller needing a new kidney to his 183,000 followers, and suddenly a flood of calls were coming in to the hospital where she was being treated. According to sources, the calls resulted in 6 matches and now the transplant is scheduled for June. Good job, Donnie!

That OTHER "Laguna Beach" Star Gets Engaged

Some of us had a pretty good weekend, but I don't think ours compare to getting asked "the question". Kristin Cavallari got engaged to Chicago Bears quarterback, Jay Cutler, over the weekend! Cutler didn't just ask her, he asked her in one of the most beautiful places in the world, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The couple has been dating since the fall. I personally have always liked Kristin, and I remember being so happy when she took over "The Hills" (because until then, my only reason for watching that show was Audrina). I wish them all the happiness in the world (still not a Bears fan though)

Update on The Weird Al/Lady Gaga Story (straight from the man himself!)

Al posted this on his blog the other day:

Well, this was a strange day.

After putting my Lady Gaga parody on YouTube this morning – and announcing that it wouldn’t be on my next album because Gaga didn’t approve it – there was a huge outpouring of disappointment from the Internet.

Apparently the fact that she didn’t approve it was news to Lady Gaga herself!

Gaga’s manager has now admitted that he never forwarded my parody to Gaga – she had no idea at all. Even though we assumed that Gaga herself was the one making the decision (because, well, that’s what we were TOLD), he apparently made the decision completely on his own.

He’s sorry.

And Gaga loves the song.

I’m thrilled on many levels to hear this, because 1) I truly respect and admire Gaga as an artist and it pained me to think of her as having less than a great sense of humor, and 2) it means I GET TO PUT OUT MY ALBUM!

As promised, all my proceeds from the song (and the MUSIC VIDEO… I can’t wait…) will go to the Human Rights Campaign.

Thank you, Gaga. And thanks to everybody who had my back.

Whew!

Your pal,
Al

***I don't claim to know Al, this was on his official website***

Where's Kate Reed When You Need Her?

This just might be my favorite story in quite awhile. Sarah Shahi (The L Word and Fairly Legal) tweeted the other day about running into Paris Hilton...or, in this case, Paris Hilton almost running into her! It all started with some reckless driving and that motherhood thing. Sarah tweets: “Worst driver ever,” tweeted Shahi after her road run-in with Hilton. “Almost hit me, then ran a stop sign. what if there was a kid around that corner, you dumb bitch.” But she wasn't done, she then says, “Paris Hilton – horrible excuse for a human being… What an irresponsible person… What a lame existence. I wouldn’t be as pissed if I wasn’t a mom." I am actually following Sarah Shahi and I found this whole thing quite funny, because she doesn't usually blow up about anybody. I am also not really a fan of Paris Hilton either, so that probably helped.

UPDATE: Paris finally replied!

I personally think that she is lying. She has gotten in trouble for bad driving before and is kind of known for it. She just doesn't want to get into trouble again.

The LeAnn Rimes "Misunderstanding"

So it appears to be all over the internet that LeAnn Rimes isn't acknowledging her first marriage, and its all because of a misquote! LeAnn Rimes married Eddie Cibrian a few days ago and then posted this on Easter, “Happy Easter Sunday my beautiful friends! Coffee…me the computer…. Eddie the Sunday newspaper… waves crashing… holding hands… nice way to start it.” Nothing wrong with that, but then she adds this gem, “My first Easter as a WIFE! GOD thank you for your goodness! May we all be blessed today and forever!” Does anyone else remember the guy she cheated on with Eddie in the first place, her husband of eight years, Dean Sheremet???? I am thinking she meant first Easter as a wife to Eddie, in fact, I am pretty sure that is what she meant. Watch what you say people, it could be taken the wrong way by anybody at anytime.

She Makes "Breakout Kings" Even More Awesome

I am hoping that you haven't been under a rock the past month or so and have at least HEARD about the A&E hit show, Breakout Kings. Well, I personally think the show is pretty awesome and I love the characters too. There is one character though, that I am especially fond of; that is the character of Erica Reed, played by Serinda Swan. As soon as I saw the first commercial with her, I was like "Who is that girl?" Erica is a bounty hunter and expert tracker, the real Serinda is much less threatening :). She is also Canadian. She is really hot, eh? ;) You can catch her on "Breakout Kings" every Sunday night at 10pm on A&E!

Little Big Town's "Born This Way" (Cover)

I actually got this post from Martina McBride, so a big thank you to her!

Jordan Knight: Let's Go Higher (Music Video Premiere)

Anybody that is a regular reader of this blog knows that I am a HUGE NKOTB fan, but I have NEVER really been a fan of Jordan Knight, or his solo stuff. That is all about to change. I have loved this song since the day it came out and I am so excited to be able to share the video with all of you! "Let's Go Higher" is the first single off Jordan's new album, Unfinished. Leave your opinions below in a comment!

Thank you to eonline.com for the video and the picture :)

Evan Rachel Wood Exits The Closet

No surprise here. Evan Rachel Wood told the world that she was bisexual  She didn't just say it, she did it in style - in Esquire Magazine to be exact. She said, “I was always into very androgynous things. Guys, girls…I’m into androgyny in general.” You might remember Evan as the star of the very controversial movie, "Thirteen", or more recently as the ex-fiancee of Marilyn Manson. She is also in True Blood. Wood says she would like to meet a nice guy or girl. I wish her luck and I hope she finds people more awesome than her past relationships.

Christina Aguilera: Officially Divorced

Christina Aguilera's divorce from her husband of 5 years, Jordan Bratman, was finalized this morning. They married in 2005 and have one son together (3 year old Max). Christina and Jordan separated back in October and she filed for divorce shortly thereafter. Aguilera is currently in a relationship with Matthew Rutler, a production assistant she met on the set of Burlesque.

Kelly Clarkson Returns To "American Idol"

The first person to ever be crowned an "American Idol" returned to her old stomping grounds this week. Kelly Clarkson went on the show to perform "Don't You Want To Stay" (her song with Jason Aldean). Ryan Seacrest introduced her as "the girl who started it all". It's been 10 years and she is still my favorite idol alumni and one of my favorite singers too! Check out the performance below!

Movie Review: Scre4m (aka Scream 4)

First off, I would just like to say that I personally think that this was the best one of the series (so far). I was a little worried after Scream 3 (and so was Wes Craven), but they came back with a BANG! Its all centered around Sidney coming to Woodsboro on her book tour , and running into some old friends (Gale and Dewey) and meeting the family that she has never known (including her cousin, Jill, and all of Jill's friends). There are definitely the usual frights, but there are also a lot of laughs (as fans of the series expect). I don't want to give away too much, except to say that I didn't see the ending coming...at all (including the big reveal). If the ending is ruined for you (either from spoilers or from friends/family), I still think you should see it - just to see if you would have figured it out anyway. Overall Rating: 4 stars

Britney Spears Reveals "Femme Fatale Tour" Poster

So, if her goal was to scare the hell out of little kids....mission accomplished!

I would like to thank my friend over at http://www.celebritysmackblog.com/ for the poster :)

Chris Meloni Speaks Out For Gay Rights

Now it was only fair that since I wrote about Mariska Hargitay, that I write about her tv partner as well...partner in police work that is. Chris Meloni, who plays Elliot Stabler on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, recently did a PSA in support of same-sex marriage. The PSA is backing the Human Rights Campaign's (Hrc) New Yorkers for Marriage Equality drive. In the PSA he says this, "I believe in love, in family and in fairness. That's why I'm a New Yorker for marriage equality. Already, five states and the District of Columbia have marriage equality. It's time for New York to lead again. Join me in supporting New Yorkers for Marriage Equality." Good for you, Chris! I wish more people felt the same way you do!

Ashley Tisdale Poses Nude

Ashley Tisdale wants to remind us that she is no longer in High School. The "High School Musical/Hellcats" star bared it all for the annual "nude issue" of Allure Magazine. She said this about this issue: “I’m 25, almost 26, but people think of me as much younger because I look young. Being in this shoot was me saying, ‘I’m not just the young girl everybody thinks I am. I’m actually a woman.’” Bridget Moynahan, Keri Hilson and Kaley Cuoco also stripped down for the magazine.

Taryn Manning: Turn It Up!

In case you haven't done it yet, go download her newest solo single! This song is awesome! Stay tuned for an interview coming very soon :)

Samantha Ronson Injured In Bike Accident

Samantha Ronson was injured over the weekend in a traffic accident. She posted the above pic with the caption, “Let this be a lesson… if you have a driver’s license you probably don’t need to be on a bmx bike.” According to the the world famous DJ, she was trying to avoid a car when the accident happened. She also said this about the incident: “Gonna ride my bike til i crack my dome” She also told concerned fans that she was "Ok, just a little uglier than usual. Other than that, Vicodin is handling the rest :)”. I am glad she is doing okay. Her and Taryn are my DJ idols that I hope to be like someday. I am sure Lindsay is by her side right now, and will take good care of her :). All it takes sometimes is a little love from someone who truly cares about you.

Chris Medina Is Going On Tour...And Is Bringing Some Friends!

You probably know Chris as one of the “American Idol” rejects from the current season, or maybe you know him for the story that touched the lives of everyone. Well, he will be going on tour next month with a few other "Idol" rejects. Chris, Rob Bolin, and Tim Halperin will be setting out on a 5 city tour next month. 95% of the proceeds will go to Chris' fiancee's (Juliana Ramos) Recovery Fund. The tour will span 4 states; kicking off in Toledo and ending in Chicago. The tour is also in no way affiliated with AI, but let's be honest...without the show, there wouldn't be a tour.

Mariska Hargitay Adopts Baby Girl

Law & Order: SVU's Olivia Benson (and her real life husband, who is also on the show) has adopted a baby girl. The baby's name is Amaya Josephine and she was born a week ago in the U.S. The couple also have a son, four year old August. Mariska and Peter Hermann (you know him as Trevor Langan on SVU) married in August of 2004. I am very excited about this news, she seems like she would be a good mom! I also love the show and I think its so sweet that they found each other. He was originally cast to be a love interest for Alex, but found real life love instead. He has been a recurring character since 2002, and I am sure he will remain on the show as long as Mariska is on there too. She is actually one of my favorite characters, the only person on the show that I like more than her is Casey Novak (who is no longer on the show).

John Stamos Grants A Wish Via Twitter

The actor responded on Twitter to a young woman wanting tickets to a sold out Beach Boys show in Niagara Falls. Stamos ended up offering her two tickets to go see him and the band perform. Who is this lucky woman? Her name is Natalie Leger, and she is 19 years old. John not only replied and told her 2 tickets would be at will call, but he also sent her a direct message confirming it, AND is hooking her up with backstage passes as well! Now that's pretty cool. Just another way that social networking is making dreams come true for fans. This story really reached out to me because my first concert ever was The Beach Boys (feat John Stamos).
Thanks to gossipcop for the story.

Hot Reality Star Makes Headlines Again

Remember Megan Hauserman from many VH1 reality shows? Or maybe you remember her as the winner of Season 3 of "Beauty and the Geek" on the CW? You might also remember that her own reality show, "Megan Wants A Millionaire", got canceled after the first few episodes because of contestant/convicted murderer, Ryan Jenkins. Anyway, she is in the news/on tv for other reasons nowadays. She got arrested for a DUI in Miami last year, and plead guilty at her recent trial (as she should). Her punishment? 6 months probation, $1,000 fine, and a suspended license for 6 months. Megan was also ordered to take a DUI educational class, and complete 100 hours of community service. I think that seems like a really good "punishment". I love Megan, but she got off too easy in my opinion. What do you guys think?

Thanks to TMZ for the story and the mugshot photos

Justin Bieber's Birthday Gesture Goes Up In Smoke

Justin Bieber's heart was in the right place, I will give him that. The idea was to bring his mom on stage, give her a cake, and wish her a happy birthday. It seemed easy enough (and it WAS an awesome idea). Unfortunately for his mom, it went terribly wrong. The candles from the cake caught her hair on fire! Justin ended up saving his mom and she is just fine. In fact, they both wrote about the incident on Twitter. She is lucky though, cause it could've been a lot worse! Check out the video footage below!

Thanks to gossipcop for this awesome story!
