The judge on the Chris Brown/Rihanna case eased up on the restraining order after the pop singer said she didn't object to the stay away order being lifted. He could still violate probation if he harasses, annoys, or threatens the Barbadian beauty.

Carrie Underwood's music was banned from a Canadian radio station after her husband, Mike Fisher was traded from the Ottawa Senators to the Nashville Predators. Let me first point out that they are dumb; but they also haven't played her music in three years anyway (not a country station).

Alyssa Milano and her husband are expecting their first child. The couple married in August of 2009 and she is due this fall.

Justin Bieber Gets A Haircut!

If you are a teenage girl, brace yourself...Justin Bieber got his hair cut for charity! He tweeted about it saying that it would be auctioned off. I personally think he looks better now; but I am sure a lot of people will make a big deal about it and disagree :(. The good news is that I am sure it will help raise a lot of money :).

Amanda Seyfried Gives Interview In Her Birthday Suit

Amanda Seyfried sat down with Justin Timberlake recently to do an interview for Interview Magazine in the nude. To quote the lovely actress, "I’m most comfortable in my birthday suit." Hey, more power to her and I can't say that I don't envy the guy. Before you get too excited, I would like to point out that the interview was conducted over the PHONE. Amanda and Justin are costars in the upcoming film, Now; but this interview was about her new movie, Red Riding Hood (which I plan on seeing as soon as it comes out on March 11th). Above is the cover of the magazine, look for it on newstands soon (March 2011 issue).

Ashlee Simpson Files For Divorce

Thanks to gossipcop for the photo

Numerous sources are reporting that after 2 and a half years of marriage, the singer/actress filed for divorce. She signed the documents citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. Simpson married the former Fall Out Boy bassist back in 2008 at her parents' house. They have a 2 year old son together (Bronx) and Simpson is asking for joint legal custody and primary physical custody. She is also seeking spousal support. As with any couple that files that kind of paperwork, they are asking for privacy during this "very difficult time as they enter the next phase of their lives."
I am not a big fan of Ashlee; but I like some of her music (and I LOVE her sister-lol). I honestly think he married her to cover up his sexuality; but i could be wrong. I didn't think it was going to last either way though.

"Born This Way" Cover Art

The single will be released this Friday and the album drops on May 23rd. What do you think?

Interview: Karmina

I am honestly very excited about being able to do this interview and I thank the girls (Kelly & Kamille) for taking the time to answer all of my questions. If you want to get to know Karmina a little bit better; follow them on Twitter! This is just the written interview; the video will be coming later:

First off, I really appreciate you girls doing this for me - I know you are probably really busy.
1. How did you get started in the music industry? Have you been singing since you were kids?
WE'VE BEEN SINGING TOGETHER SINCE WE WERE 5 YEARS OLD! IT'S ALWAYS FUNNY WHEN PEOPLE REMARK AT HOW WELL WE HARMONIZE WHEN WE'VE TRULY HAD THE UNFAIR ADVANTAGE OF BEING SINGING PARTNERS FOR 20 YEARS. OUR FIRST MUSICAL TRAINING WAS IN CLASSICAL MUSIC. WE TOOK SOLFEGE CLASSES AND PRIVATE VOICE LESSONS FOR YEARS BEFORE BRANCHING INTO MUSIC THEATER. WE EVENTUALLY FORMED OUR FIRST BAND IN MIDDLE SCHOOL, A COVER BAND. WE INCORPORATED A FEW OF OUR ORIGINAL TUNES IN THIS BAND, CALLED KALABASH, AND EVENTUALLY REALIZED THAT WE HAD A LOT MORE FUN SINGING OUR OWN STUFF THAN MARIAH CAREY. KARMINA WAS BORN IN HIGH SCHOOL.
>
>
2. Out of YOUR songs; what is your favorite?
"THE KISS" WILL PROBABLY ALWAYS BE OUR FAVORITE BECAUSE OF THE MESSAGE. "WALK YOU HOME" IS OUR OTHER FAVORITE BECAUSE WE WROTE IT ABOUT EACH OTHER.
>
3. What can we expect to see/hear from you in 2011?
2011 IS A YEAR OF MYSTERY. WE'RE REALLY EXCITED ABOUT A LOT OF POSSIBILITY. THE ONLY THING WE CAN SHARE AT THIS POINT IS THAT WE'RE PLANNING A TOUR NEXT MONTH UP THE WEST COAST!
>
4. What do you like to do in your spare time?
WE LOVE TO SHOP, BUT WE'RE PRETTY PARTICULAR ABOUT WHERE WE SPEND OUR MONEY. WE TYPICALLY GO TO STORES THAT HAVE ONE-OF-A-KIND PIECES -- UNIQUE IDEAS FOR CLOTHING. BUT ENOUGH ABOUT CLOTHES! KELLY LOVES TO KNIT. KAMILLE LOVES TO MAKE FLOWER CLIPS. WE ALSO LOVE TO PLAY SOCCER WITH OUR FRIENDS ON SUNDAYS. AND COOK. AND PAINT. AND READ. AND WATCH MOVIES IN BED.
>
5. What other musicians do you like?
COLDPLAY, BJORK, THE BEATLES, IMOGEN HEAP. THOSE ARE OUR TOP FAVORITES AT THE MOMENT.
>
6. If you could work with anyone; who would it be?
COLDPLAY, BECAUSE WE FEEL SO MUCH INSPIRATION FROM THEM ON A DAILY BASIS.
>
7. What was it like working with Amanda Ireton on "The Kiss" video? (as we all know, I am a huge fan of hers)
AMANDA! WHAT WE LOVED MOST ABOUT AMANDA WAS HER HONESTY, WHICH IS PROBABLY WHAT MADE HER A GREAT REALITY TV STAR. (FOR THE RECORD, WE HAD NO IDEA SHE WAS ON REALITY TV UNTIL WE MET HER AND LEARNED MORE WHAT SHE DID FOR A LIVING!) WE HOPE SHE AND JOY ARE STILL TOGETHER AND IN LOVE, BUT MORE THAN ANYTHING WE REALLY HOPE THAT SHE'S BEEN LIVING A FEARLESS LIFE IN LOVE.
>
8. You were number 35 on my yearly countdown with "Slow Down" and it was your return to the countdown after your 2008 appearance with "The Kiss"; do you have a new single coming out soon and what it is called?
OO LA LA! WE HAVEN'T YET DECIDED WHAT OUR NEW SINGLE WILL BE -- IT WILL BECOME CLEAR ONCE THE ALBUM IS FINISHED. BUT. IT MAY BE A SONG CALLED "CONVINCED". MAYBE.
>
9. I know you have done songs for tv shows and such; what is your favorite television show?
THE FUNNIEST SECRET ABOUT US IS THAT WE HARDLY WATCH TV -- MOSTLY MOVIES! ALTHOUGH WE DO TRY TO CATCH THE EPISODES THAT OUR SONGS ARE IN. BUT IF WE HAD TO PICK A FAVORITE TV SHOW IT WOULD HAVE TO BE....WILL AND GRACE!
>
10. If you weren't singers; what would you be doing?
WE'D BE ASTRONAUTS.

Super Bowl XLV

It actually tied for the highest ratings with the 1987 Super Bowl (Broncos vs Giants). Last night's ratings were 47.9 and for good reason! I thought it was a really good game; but my only complaint was the halftime show. I have seen BEP live and I really don't think they were at their best last night - not even close. The messed up sound system didn't help either. The moment everyone seems to be talking about is the botched national anthem (sung by one of my favorites, Christina Aguilera). Yes, she fucked it up; but think of all the times in her career that she has sung it correctly. I think she still sounded spectacular. Christina was interviewed afterwards and said that she got so caught up in the moment that she lost her place; but that she still hopes "that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of its anthem still came through." We still love you, Christina (even after Bionic).

Nicki Minaj Super Fan? You're Not The Only One!

Do you like Nicki Minaj enough to try to sing her songs and post them on Youtube? Do you find yourself singing along to her rhymes or dancing to her beats? Well, you might have some unexpected company on all of the above. Both Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez are both huge fans of Nicki Minaj!

Thanks to Gossipcop.com for the info and the videos :)

Super Bowl Stadium Injures Six

Falling Ice at Cowboys Stadium Injures 5 : MyFoxDFW.com

I read on tmz.com today that six people were injured (one critically) from ice falling off the roof of Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, TX (Home of this year's Super Bowl). For safety reasons, everyone entering or exiting the stadium must now use the truck tunnel (all other entrances have been closed). The truck tunnel is a safe distance away and will be used until further notice.

Packers vs Steelers

I don't know about y'all; but I am super excited for this weekend's Super Bowl game! The Packers have been my team for quite a few years now and I think the Steelers are awesome too. It should be a pretty close game and a lot of fun to watch :). I don't know if you remember my previous blog post about this very same topic; but all I can say is that I was right! :). Not to step on anyone's toes if you are a Steelers fan; but I really think the Packers will take this one.

Justin Timberlake is NOT pursuing Mila Kunis (yet anyway).

Britney Spears has announced album date and cover art via her Twitter.

The White Stripes have broken up (is anyone upset?).

Lindsay Lohan is being investigated for stolen necklace (I highly doubt she stole it; especially since she has had things stolen from her in the past).

Rihanna - S&M (Music Video Premiere)

Here is Rihanna's newest video- I think if it wasn't so cut and paste it would actually mean something. I don't think it is a good or bad video but it's a decent and chaotic opportunity to say something.
