Chad Kroeger and Avril Lavigne Tied The Knot

The couple I never saw coming actually got married in France on July 1st! They met in Spring 2012, and got engaged about 6 months later (I guess her rebound from Brody Jenner worked out better than I thought). Both are Canadian, and both are musicians, but only Avril has been married before. The first time she was young, but at least they dated a long period of time before deciding to get married. I hope it beats the odds against it, and works out for them - Congrats! I am looking forward to the obvious Nickelback/Avril collaboration!

Brody & Avril Called It Quits

I was going to wait to hear from Brody about this one, but multiple reports are enough for me:

Brody Jenner and Avril Lavigne have broken up after nearly 2 years of dating. Some people saw the relationship as doomed from the start, but I had hope from the very beginning. I think Brody is a pretty cool guy, and they seemed happy, so that is all that should matter. You might remember them getting matching tattoos when they first got together (each other's names). If I do hear back from Brody, I will be sure to update you - I promise! I hope both of them find happiness elsewhere (although a reconciliation would be nice too).

UPDATE: Brody tweeted this earlier tonight: It really upsets me to read all the FALSE!! stories. Avril has always been there for me and is the closest person to my heart. I love her. Avril tweeted back that she loved him too - aww!
