Album Review: Nick Lachey - Soundtrack Of My Life

1. In Your Eyes (Peter Gabriel) - The original version is definitely a great song, but Nick's voice makes it a little bit better

2. Falling Slowly (Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglová) - I am not that familiar with the original song, but this one was way too slow after the last song.

3. Here With Me (Dido) - Nick Lachey covering Dido? Yes Please!

4. Iris (Goo Goo Dolls) - NOTHING will ever replace the original, but he puts his own spin on it (which is nice)

5. Angel (Sarah McLachlan) - The original is kinda untouchable (Sorry Nick....I still love you though)

6. Streets of Philadelphia (Bruce Springsteen) - probably my least fave song on the album (so far)

7. I Don't Want To Miss A Thing (Aerosmith) - I like his take on the 90's classic

8. When You Say Nothing At All (Ronan Keating) - One of my faves on the album for sure

9. What A Wonderful World (Louis Armstrong) - I am officially listening to this every Holiday season from now on!

Happy Birthday To The Lacheys!

I have always been a fan of Nick (we ALL know this), but I do love Vanessa too. I think they are a really great couple, and both seem like they are good people too. Mr. Lachey turns 40 today, while his beautiful wife turns 33 - I must say that I think it is incredibly cute that they share a birthday! Speaking of cute, their son Camden is going to be a heartbreaker when he is older - such a cutie patootie! I hope they had the happiest of birthdays, and just a side note to Nick, you make 40 look amazing! ;) - go wish them some special birthday wishes @vanessalachey & @nicklachey on Twitter!

The Lacheys Welcome Their Son Into The World!

Well, the newest heart-breaker of the world was finally born on September 12th, and I can't wait to see pictures (I mean, look at his genes)! Nick and Vanessa released the following statement earlier this evening:

“We are incredibly proud to announce the birth of our beautiful baby boy, Camden John Lachey. Born today at 6:54 p.m., he came into this world at 8 lbs., 9 oz. and 21 inches. Love has truly been redefined for both of us.”

The Lacheys Announce Their Baby's Gender!

Vanessa said she wanted a boy first, and she got her wish! She posted this announcement on her official website yesterday:

“It’s a BOY. Nick and I are incredibly excited to share the news that we are expecting a baby boy. We can’t wait to meet him soon!!!”

I am excited to see this kid - he is going to be a cutie!



In other news, it has been a really good week for Nick and Vanessa (finding out the gender, announcing the 98 Degrees reunion), and I hope their good news continues.

98 Degrees Reunion Update

Despite the rumors, there WILL still be a reunion tour, it just won't be this summer (as originally planned). Nick Lachey started a frenzy earlier today when he tweeted that the only tour he was going on was to babies r us (his wife is pregnant and due this summer), but what he didn't say is that the summer tour is only postponed, and not cancelled. How do I know this, you ask? Well, Jeff Timmons himself told me! Stay tuned for updates!

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo Finally Wed!

Well, they finally did it. The Happy Couple (that has been together since 2006) got married at an undisclosed location On Friday (July 15th) in front of 35 family and friends. The nuptials were a surprise even for the guests, who didn't know they were attending a wedding. Nick said the invites were plane tickets, and they wanted to keep things very vague. You can catch the wedding airing on TLC on July 30th! Next step for Nick and Vanessa? Start a family together of course. Congratulations to you two!
