Brangelina Engagement - Everyone Okay With It

You may remember back in 2008 how they said they would not get married until EVERYONE had the right to do so, and they even went as far as publicly opposing California's Prop 8.... Well, it seems that a lot has changed in the past 4 years, and apparently nobody cares. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie announced their engagement on Friday after being together 7 years and having 3 children together, and Equality California has voiced their support:

"Marriage is something that says ‘we're a family’ in a way that nothing else can ... No one has to deny that for themselves or their family to prove they are an ally and supporter of equality."

Although I am happy for them, and think they are truly great together, I am not as supportive - some of us still can't marry the person that we love. You either support it or you don't - there's no halfway.

I am happy for their kids, because it seems like they are the ones that really wanted their parents to marry. I have a horrible feeling though, that they're putting a curse on their relationship. They've lasted this long with no real problem yet, so...if it ain't broke, why fix it?
